Coyotes of Trent University

This website explores the honours thesis work of Nicole Murphy, a fourth year student in the School of the Environment at Trent University.

Nicole was interested in people’s perceptions of coyotes and how those perception were shaped by the media. She was also interested in how students, staff and faculty at Trent University perceived the presence of coyotes on campus.

Supported by The Fur-Bearers Arts and Science Scholarship, Nicole was able to purchase eight trail cameras to track coyotes and other wildlife on campus.
